Filhote de onça morre após ser encontrado baleado na Bahia

Caso aconteceu nesta quinta-feira (19), na Serra do Tombador, norte do estado. Onça encontrada ferida chegou a ser socorrida, mas não resistiu

Um filhote de onça parda morreu após ser encontrada baleada na Serra do Tombador, na cidade de Jacobina, no norte da Bahia, nesta quinta-feira (19). As informações são do secretário municipal do meio ambiente, Daniel Moura.
De acordo com o secretário, funcionários do órgão foram acionados por um morador que viu o animal ferido. Equipes da Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente (SMMA) e do Instituto Nacional do Meio Ambiente (INEMA) chegaram a fazer o resgate da onça, mas ela morreu a caminho da unidade onde seria atendida.
Segundo o secretário, o animal foi encontrada muito machucado, com fraturas possivelmente provocadas por um tiro. Não há detalhes do tamanho dele e nem do peso.
Ainda de acordo com Daniel Moura, o corpo do felino foi recolhido e levado para o Parque Sete Passagens, em Miguel Calmon. Em seguida, vai ser encaminhado para Salvador, onde passará por necropsia.
Conforme o secretário, o animal não é tão comum, mas há registros da presença dele na região. A Polícia Civil e o Inema vão investigar o caso.
