A Apple superou nos últimos dias o valor do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) do Brasil em 2019. O PIB é a soma de todos os bens e serviços finais produzidos por um país e é um termômetro da atividade econômica.
Segundo dados do Banco Mundial, o PIB brasileiro no ano passado cresceu 1,1% e chegou a US$ 1,84 trilhão. Já a empresa de tecnologia está valendo por volta de US$ 1,9 trilhão, de acordo com a Nasdaq, a bolsa de valores em que a Apple está listada.

O PIB do Brasil em 2019 registrou a 3ª alta anual consecutiva após 2 anos de retração, mas a recuperação lenta ainda mantém a economia do país abaixo do patamar pré-recessão, quando o indicador caiu quase 7%.
No caso da Apple o bom desempenho no segundo trimestre de 2020, com aumento de receita para cerca de US$ 60 bilhões fez as ações da empresa avançarem para mais de US$ 400 desde o início de agosto. Atualmente, a companhia fundada por Steve Jobs é a empresa mais valiosa do mundo.
Segundo a agência Reuters, o setor de tecnologia vem conseguindo bom desempenho na bolsa em função da boa saúde financeira das empresas.
A Apple acumula valorização de cerca de 40% no ano, com investidores apostando que ela e outras grandes empresas de tecnologia dos EUA emergirão da pandemia de coronavírus mais fortes do que as rivais menores.
