A Noruega se tornou em 2020 o primeiro país do mundo em que os carros elétricos representaram mais de 50% dos novos emplacamentos em 12 meses, de acordo com dados publicados nesta terça-feira (5).
O Conselho de Informação do Tráfico Rodoviário (OFV) informou que os veículos elétricos tiveram uma cota de mercado de 54,3% no ano passado, contra 42,4% em 2019.
Os quatro novos modelos mais vendidos no país (Audi e-tron, Tesla Model 3, Volkswagen ID.3 e Nissan Leaf) são alimentados por energia elétrica.
O quinto, o Golf da Volkswagen, tem uma versão recarregável, mas as estatísticas não diferenciam entre os tipos de motores.
As vendas de carros elétricos de dezembro estabeleceram um novo recorde mensal, a 66,7%, estimuladas pelo lançamento de novos modelos, segundo o OFV.
A Noruega, maior produtor de combustíveis do oeste da Europa, também é um país pioneiro na mobilidade elétrica graças a uma política fiscal vantajosa.
O país nórdico, onde a energia elétrica é quase totalmente hidrelétrica, tem o objetivo de que todos os carros tenham “zero emissões” até 2025.
