O presidente Jair Bolsonaro assinou duas medidas provisórias (MPs) que abrem caminho para o pagamento da nova rodada do auxílio emergencial.
O Palácio do Planalto ainda avalia se o presidente irá ao Congresso Nacional pessoalmente, nesta quinta-feira (18), para entregar os textos, como forma de dividir com os parlamentares a criação do novo auxílio.
A primeira MP, com o desenho do novo auxílio, que pode atingir até 46 milhões de brasileiros, foi enviada na noite de quarta-feira ao Palácio do Planalto para assinatura de Bolsonaro. A segunda medida provisória, com a liberação de crédito extraordinário, foi finalizada pela equipe econômica na madrugada desta quinta.
Medidas provisórias têm força de lei assim que publicadas no “Diário Oficial da União”. Precisam, contudo, de aprovação do Congresso para se tornar leis em definitivo. O prazo para votação é de 120 dias. Se esse limite não for cumprido, a MP perde validade.
No último dia 8, o ministro da Economia, Paulo Guedes, disse que o valor da parcela ficará entre R$ 175 e R$ 375. Bolsonaro chegou a afirmar em uma rede social, no mês passado, que serão quatro parcelas.
Segundo falas recentes de Guedes, a ideia é iniciar o pagamento da nova rodada no início de abril.
Congresso Nacional promulga PEC que permite retomada do auxílio emergencial

A nova rodada do auxílio foi viabilizada com a promulgação, pelo Congresso Nacional, da proposta de emenda à Constituição conhecida como PEC Emergencial.
A proposta prevê mecanismos para evitar descontrole dos gastos públicos e define que a retomada do auxílio não está submetida às limitações do teto de gastos.
O texto aprovado pelo Congresso Nacional estipulou o valor de R$ 44 bilhões como limite para custeio da nova rodada do auxílio. O valor não é a estimativa de quanto custará o programa, mas um teto de recursos para bancá-lo.
