A Volkswagen anunciou que irá retomar o segundo turno na fábrica de Taubaté a partir de 27 de julho. Voltarão ao trabalho, em jornada reduzida, funcionários que estavam em layoff.
O número de funcionários que estavam afastados é de 1.300. Mas o número que retorna pode não atingir essa totalidade, já que no layoff estavam trabalhadores do grupo de risco. A estimativa do Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos é que 1.200 colaboradores retornem.
A Volks paralisou as atividades no final de março devido à pandemia. Após dois meses de férias coletivas, cerca de 1.800 funcionários retornaram no início de junho em jornada reduzida. Esses 1.300 que voltam agora estavam em programa de layoff desde 25 de maio. O programa poderia durar até cinco meses.
Em nota, a empresa afirma que este retorno se deve ao aumenta na demanda do mercado interno e da Argentina. O segundo turno funcionará por período determinado, até dezembro de 2020.
O Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos afirmou que irá fiscalizar o retorno dos trabalhadores às atividades para garantir que não haja riscos de contaminação de Covid-19 na fábrica.
Os cuidados adotados na fábrica desde a retomada foram os seguintes:
Distanciamento de 1,5 m entre as pessoas,
Obrigatório o uso de máscaras nas dependências das fábricas;
Limpeza periódica das dependências das fábricas e escritórios e reforço na desinfecção dos ambientes;
Medição de temperatura dos empregados antes de ingressar no ônibus fretado e na fábrica;
Aumento do número de ônibus fretado para garantir o distanciamento das pessoas;
Nos refeitórios uso de luvas para servir-se e demarcação de assentos;
Postos avançados de atendimento médico dentro das fábricas para orientação, triagem e atendimento mais rápido de todos.
