A capital do Japão se prepara, nesta segunda-feira (26), para a passagem do tufão Nepartak, previsto para tocar o país na próxima terça (27), segundo o serviço meteorológico japonês.
A organização das Olimpíadas de Tóquio já anunciou uma série de mudanças nos horários das competições por conta da tempestade que poderá trazer ventos de até 100km/h.
As finais do surfe foram adiantadas para evitar a mudança no tempo. Já as provas do remo e tiro com arco precisaram ser adiadas para depois da passagem do tufão.

A trajetória prevista para o Nepartak parece evitar a cidade de Tóquio, sede da maior parte dos jogos. No entanto, alterações nas ondas e marés poderia afetar a realização de alguns esportes.
Fortes rajadas de vento são esperadas na terça, portanto as condições podem ser impraticáveis para o remo, por exemplo, disse a organização olímpica.
Toda a região da capital está sob alerta amarelo para tempestades, o mais baixo na escala japonesa. A temporada de tufões no Japão geralmente começa em maio e termina em outubro.
