A pressão que tem elevado os preços do trigo no Brasil deve permanecer pelo menos até a entrada da próxima safra do cereal, em meados de setembro, disse nesta sexta-feira (24) a Associação Brasileira da Indústria do Trigo (Abitrigo).

A situação é puxada especialmente pela forte alta nos valores do trigo nos mercados externos, em meio a problemas climáticos em locais como Austrália, Europa e Mar Negro, dificuldades logísticas na França, perda de produção na Rússia e expressiva demanda asiática.
“Este período turbulento se estenderá, no mínimo, até a entrada da próxima safra em meados de setembro, se tudo correr bem”, concluiu a entidade.
Principal fornecedora de trigo do Brasil (que é importador líquido da commodity), a Argentina foi favorecida por todo o contexto, que fez com que nos últimos dois meses a cotação do cereal no país saltasse 26%, para US$ 240 por tonelada (FOB), ampliando a pressão sobre o mercado brasileiro.
Localmente, a desvalorização do real frente ao dólar desde o início do ano e a quebra de safra de 33% no Paraná também contribuíram para o atual cenário, segundo a Abitrigo.
Ainda, segundo a entidade, grandes mercados internos já comercializaram toda a última safra, impactando na oferta local.
Recentemente, de acordo com a Abitrigo, os valores do cereal no Paraná avançaram 18%, para R$ 1 mil por tonelada, enquanto os preços no Rio Grande do Sul saltaram 28%, para R$ 700 por tonelada.
Tudo isso faz com que os moinhos encarem uma forte pressão de custos, que “inevitavelmente gerará um expressivo reajuste de preços das farinhas nas próximas semanas”.
