A manada de 15 elefantes-asiáticos que deixou sua floresta na província de Yunnan, no sul da China, e já marchou 500 quilômetros rumo ao norte voltou a chamar a atenção do mundo.
Agora, imagens do grupo parando para uma soneca na mata é que impressionam. Neste vídeo, por exemplo, é possível ver, de cima, todos acomodados, próximos uns aos outros.
Os elefantes deram início à saga cerca de 15 meses atrás, e sem nenhuma explicação aparente.

Há quem diga que apenas estão seguindo um líder inexperiente, que não sabe muito bem o que está fazendo. Já outros dizem que eles podem estar buscando um lugar mais “aconchegante” para se instalar.
Eles têm criado bastante confusão no caminho: têm cruzado vilas, cidades maiores e passando bem perto de metrópoles bastante povoadas, o que tem demandado acompanhamento das autoridades e estratégias para desviá-los, como deixando uma trilha de alimentos como milho e abacaxi.
