Cruzeiros que já estão em curso devem concluir as atividades. Os que ainda não estão em alto mar, serão notificados sobre a decisão pelo ministério. Ministério da Saúde suspende cruzeiros no Brasil por causa da pandemia de coronavírus.

O Ministério da Saúde informou nesta sexta-feira (13) que a realização de cruzeiros turísticos em toda a costa do Brasil deve ser adiada por tempo indeterminado. O pronunciamento foi feito durante a coletiva de imprensa da pasta.
Segundo o secretário de vigilância do Ministério da Saúde, Wanderson Kleber de Oliveira, “os cruzeiros são ambientes de confinamento com muita proximidade entre os turistas, e muitos deles são internacionais.”
O ministério aponta que a realização dos cruzeiros colocaria a vida de muitas pessoas em risco, já que a maioria dos que frequentam esse ambiente são idosos. “Enquanto pendurar a declaração de emergência, as atividades desse setor estarão interrompidas. Os cruzeiros que ainda não estão em alto mar, nós vamos notificar”, afirmou Wanderson, acrescentando que os cruzeiros que já estão em curso devem concluir as atividades.
A pasta também recomendou que viajantes internacionais que cheguem ao Brasil fiquem em isolamento domiciliar por 7 dias, mesmo que não tenham apresentado sintomas do novo coronavírus. O ministério orienta, ainda, que grandes eventos sejam cancelados ou adiados.
Casos no Brasil
O Brasil registrou ao menos 151 casos confirmados de Covid-19 até esta sexta-feira (13). O número foi atualizado nesta sexta a partir de balanços divulgados pelas secretarias estaduais de Saúde e pelo Hospital Albert Einstein. Já o levantamento do Ministério fala ainda em 98 casos.
As cidades de São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro já têm casos de transmissão comunitária, aqueles em que não é possível identificar a trajetória de infecção do vírus.
