A livraria reabriu em junho, mas o cliente, ainda com medo da pandemia, não apareceu. A única saída foi entrar no mundo digital e brincar com as crianças pelas redes sociais. A crise gerada pela pandemia do coronavírus atingiu duramente pequenas livrarias. Uma delas, em São Paulo, perdeu 90% do faturamento. Mesmo assim, as empresárias continuam se reinventando investindo em ações digitais para seu público alvo: crianças e adolescentes.
As irmãs Marcela e Andrea Aranha são a segunda geração à frente do negócio, que existe há 30 anos. A livraria parece uma casa encantada, com árvore de papel machê, cabana de tule, livros interativos e recados por todas as paredes da casa de mais de 200 m².
O negócio reabriu em junho, com a flexibilização da quarentena, mas o cliente, ainda com medo, não apareceu. A única saída foi entrar no mundo digital e brincar com as crianças pelas redes sociais.
Todos os dias elas postam atividades para aproximar pais e filhos. Também fazem lives com apresentações musicais. Quem compra um livro, ganha uma história, contada em vídeo. Mesmo a distância, o atendimento é próximo, personalizado.
“Se o pai fala que não está entendendo direito uma história, a gente monta um vídeo sobre essa história e manda pra esse pai pra que ele entenda e se apaixone por aquele pedacinho que a gente conta”, explica Andrea.
Livraria infantojuvenil investe em ações digitais para vencer a crise

O mercado editorial brasileiro vive da esperança. De abril para maio, o faturamento do setor subiu 31%. Com as ações digitais, a livraria acompanhou esse ritmo.
“De abril pra maio, a gente cresceu 25%. É um crescimento expressivo, acredito que no meio de uma pandemia. Mas o faturamento não chega no que a gente tinha”, conta Andrea.
O dinheiro que entra ainda não cobre as contas da livraria, que não demitiu nenhum dos nove funcionários. Para pagar a equipe, elas fizeram um empréstimo de R$ 38 mil no banco, enquanto esperam ver as estantes cheias de leitores novamente.
“A gente tem que enfrentar esse medo e colocar a cara pra viver, porque a gente está aqui pra isso, senão não tem motivo. Todo dia lutando e pensando positivo. Um dia de cada vez”, diz Andrea. “Eu espero um final feliz, espero que a gente consiga”, completa Marcela.
