Em Londres, o índice Financial Times avançou 0,48%, a 6.032 pontos. As ações europeias encerraram um pregão volátil em alta nesta sexta-feira (11), com os investidores pesando os sinais de uma recuperação na atividade de fusões e aquisições contra a ameaça econômica das crescentes perspectivas de um Brexit sem acordo.
O índice FTSEurofirst 300 subiu 0,16%, a 1.428 pontos, enquanto o índice pan-europeu STOXX 600 ganhou 0,13%, a 368 pontos, encerrando a semana em alta de cerca de 1,8%.
O índice tem estado em um padrão de negociação desde junho conforme o crescimento econômico perde força devido a um euro mais forte, que aumenta o custo das exportações europeias.
Enquanto isso, a UE está acelerando os preparativos para um fim tumultuado à saga de quatro anos do Brexit, enquanto autoridades se preparam para informar seus 27 membros sobre o plano do primeiro-ministro britânico, Boris Johnson, de quebrar o acordo de divórcio.
“As negociações do Brexit podem se tornar outra enorme dor de cabeça para os investidores”, disse Milan Cutkovic, analista de mercados da AxiCorp.
Aumento dos casos de Covid volta a preocupar a Europa
A maioria dos principais índices setoriais registrou perdas nesta sexta-feira, um dia após o BCE deixar os juros estáveis e dizer que está observando o euro de perto. O setor de petróleo e gás ficou entre os maiores perdedores devido à queda dos preços do petróleo, enquanto as jogadas defensivas, incluindo ações de saúde, telecomunicações e imobiliárias, registraram avanço.
A atividade de fusão e aquisição se destacou, com as ações da Altice Europe saltando 24,4%, para máxima de três meses e no topo do STOXX 600 após concordar em ser comprada pelo seu fundador Patrick Drahi.
Em LONDRES, o índice Financial Times avançou 0,48%, a 6.032 pontos.
Em FRANKFURT, o índice DAX caiu 0,05%, a 13.202 pontos.
Em PARIS, o índice CAC-40 ganhou 0,20%, a 5.034 pontos.
Em MILÃO, o índice Ftse/Mib teve desvalorização de 0,00%, a 19.820 pontos.
Em MADRI, o índice Ibex-35 registrou baixa de 0,80%, a 6.943 pontos.
Em LISBOA, o índice PSI20 desvalorizou-se 0,33%, a 4.311 pontos.
