O Valor Bruto da Produção Agropecuária (VBP, faturamento) deve alcançar R$ 716,6 bilhões em 2020, um valor recorde, segundo o Ministério da Agricultura. A estimativa com base nos dados de junho é R$ 12,8 bilhões maior ( 1,8%) do que a previsão de maio e 8,8 % acima do faturamento de 2019 (R$ 658,8 bilhões).
O valor das lavouras cresceu 11,6 %, enquanto o da pecuária aumentou 3,4%. A expansão do valor das lavouras foi puxada pela soja, milho, arroz, café e laranja
“O milho e a soja obtiveram valores recordes ao longo da série histórica desde 1989: R$ 76,1 bilhões e R$ 173,5 bilhões, respectivamente”, aponta o coordenador da pesquisa, José Garcia Gasques.
Pecuária
Na pecuária, o crescimento do valor bruto da produção vem sendo estimulado pela carne bovina (11,8%), carne suína (5,6%) e ovos (15,5%).
Segundo o ministério, o setor tem sido beneficiado pelas boas condições do mercado internacional. De janeiro a junho deste ano, as exportações de carnes, bovina, suína e frango geraram uma receita de US$ 8 bilhões (Agrostat, 2020). O valor das exportações de carne bovina foi de US$ 3,927 bilhões, carne suína, US$ 1,07 bilhão, e carne de frango, US$ 3,09 bilhões.
Outros produtos
Outros produtos tem apresentado bom desempenho, como amendoim, cacau, cana-de-açúcar, feijão e trigo. Desempenho pouco favorável é observado nas culturas de algodão herbáceo, banana, batata inglesa, mamona, tomate e uva.
“Além dos resultados favoráveis da safra de grãos deste ano, que segundo a Conab está prevista em 251,4 milhões de toneladas, os preços agrícolas também são um fator importante na garantia dos resultados que vêm sendo observados”, explica Gasques.
Os resultados do VBP regional indicam Mato Grosso liderando o ranking com 17,5% do valor, seguido do Paraná (12,8%), São Paulo (12,7%), Minas Gerais (10,7%) e Goiás (8%).
