Cidadãos têm tido dificuldades de retornar de alguns países para o Brasil em razão da crise do coronavírus. Governo já anunciou retorno de 1.708 pessoas em Portugal, Marrocos e Peru. O Ministério do Turismo informou nesta quinta-feira (19) que, conforme números preliminares, 883 brasileiros retidos em Portugal serão repatriados até o próximo domingo (22).
Os turistas brasileiros ficaram retidos no país europeu em razão de medidas de restrição de circulação de pessoas adotadas para tentar conter a pandemia do novo coronavírus.
Até o momento, o governo brasileiro anunciou o retorno de turistas que estão em três países:
622 brasileiros no Peru;
203 brasileiros no Marrocos;
883 brasileiros em Portugal.
O retorno dos brasileiros será feita por meio de uma ação dos ministérios do Turismo e das Relações Exteriores, em parceria com duas companhias aéreas.

Fechamento de fronteiras
Mais cedo, nesta quinta-feira, o governo federal publicou uma portaria na qual determinou o fechamento de fronteiras do Brasil com países vizinhos da América do Sul, em decorrência da pandemia de coronavírus. O fechamento se aplica a rodovias e outros meios terrestres, mas não a aeroportos.
A medida vale para estrangeiros que estejam nesses países e queiram entrar no Brasil. Cidadãos brasileiros que estiverem nesses locais podem entrar no Brasil.
O fechamento vai valer inicialmente por 15 dias, a partir desta quinta.
