Comissários de voo da companhia aérea Qatar Airways usarão um traje de proteção individual que cobre todo o corpo durante a realização de voos da empresa. Imagens divulgadas na segunda-feira (18) mostram a roupa com capuz, óculos e máscara para diminuir os riscos de contaminação da Covid-19.
As novas medidas entrarão em vigor a partir de 25 de maio, por tempo indeterminado. Além da tripulação, os viajantes também serão obrigados a usar máscaras em todos os voos da companhia do Catar.
A companhia aérea aplicou outras medidas adicionais de saúde e segurança nos serviços de bordo. As refeições da classe executiva serão servidas em uma bandeja em vez de uma mesa montada e um embrulho de talheres será oferecido aos passageiros como uma alternativa ao serviço individual, para reduzir o contato entre a tripulação e os passageiros.
Em comunicado divulgado pela companhia, o CEO da Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker, informou que as medidas de segurança são uma forma de garantir o bem estar e a saúde dos funcionários e passageiros e se adaptar para continuar operando durante a pandemia da Covid-19.
No Brasil, a Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) recomendou que aeroportos e empresas aéreas brasileiras passem a exigir a utilização de máscaras por viajantes em trânsito em aeroportos ou durante viagens para diminuir o risco de contaminação. Funcionários também estão utilizando equipamentos de proteção individual como máscaras e luvas.
