O Clubhouse, rede social baseada em conversas por voz que bombou no começo desse ano, deve continuar exclusivo para iPhone por algum tempo.
Paul Davison, cofundador do app, afirmou que a companhia está “trabalhando duro” para chegar nos celulares Android em uma conversa no último domingo (21) na sala “Townhall”, um programa semanal na própria rede.
Uma versão para Android deve demorar “alguns meses”, segundo o executivo, que apontou ser difícil fazer a transição para outro sistema.

Ele afirmou que a experiência do aplicativo ainda precisa passar por melhorias, incluindo alterações no feed principal que ainda exibe salas que não interessam às pessoas .
Uma das reclamações dos usuários, de acordo com Davison, é que ainda é difícil encontrar salas personalizadas com seus interesses e em seu idioma local.
A necessidade de convites para usar o Clubhouse também deve acabar “nos próximos meses”, segundo ele.

A ausência de uma versão do Clubhouse no Android fez com que surgissem cópias usando o nome do aplicativo, mas que são espécies de “guias” sobre a rede social.
Algumas versões falsas também foram desenvolvidas com intenção de fazer o usuário instalar conteúdos maliciosos que podem roubar dados pessoais e login e senha de outras redes sociais.
Ao site americano “TechCrunch”, o Clubhouse disse que contratou um engenheiro especialista em desenvolvimento para Android e que está trabalhando para chegar ao sistema o mais breve possível, sem indicar uma data exata.
Outras plataformas estão de olho na popularidade do Clubhouse. O Twitter, por exemplo, disponibilizou no início de março o recurso de áudio “Spaces” para pessoas que usam Android.
O “Spaces” é um recurso em testes no Twitter, lançado em dezembro passado. Nele, usuários criam salas de áudio para bater papo ou reunir uma plateia em tempo real – ideia muito similar ao Clubhouse.
