Para o presidente, eventual novo imposto deve vir acompanhado de alguma compensação, como desonerações ou extinções de impostos antigos. O presidente Jair Bolsonaro afirmou neste domingo (2) que a eventual criação de um novo imposto deve ser acompanhada de desonerações ou extinção de algum imposto antigo. O presidente disse que o governo não pretende aumentar a carga tributária. Segundo ele, “ninguém aguenta pagar mais imposto”.
A criação de um novo imposto vem sendo discutida pela equipe econômica do governo. O ministro da Economia, Paulo Guedes, já sugeriu uma cobrança sobre transações eletrônicas, nos moldes da antiga CPMF.
Bolsonaro foi questionado sobre o tema por jornalistas durante uma visita a uma padaria em Brasília.
“Não tem aumento de carga tributária. Pode substituir imposto. Mas ninguém aguenta pagar mais imposto”, afirmou o presidente.
Bolsonaro disse ainda que tem conversado com Guedes sobre compensações para o eventual novo imposto, como por exemplo a revisão na tabela do Imposto de Renda.
Passeio de moto e visita a padaria
Ele saiu de moto da residência oficial do Palácio da Alvorada, andou por ruas da cidade até parar no comércio do Lago Norte, bairro nobre da capital.
Na padaria, Bolsonaro cumprimentou apoiadores e causou aglomeração. O presidente usava máscara, mas em alguns momentos colocou a mão no tecido, o que não é recomendado pelos especialistas em saúde.
Desde que a pandemia do novo coronavírus chegou ao Brasil, entre o final de fevereiro e o início de março, se tornaram comuns as saídas do presidente pelas ruas da capital e cidades do entorno. Bolsonaro é contrário às medida de isolamento social tomadas pelos governos estaduais e distrital para conter avanço do vírus.
Ele já visitou padarias, farmácias, postos de gasolina. Nas ocasiões cumprimentou simpatizantes, causou aglomerações e, muitas vezes, não usava máscara.
Autoridades sanitárias em todo o mundo, como a Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS), afirmam que o isolamento social é uma das principais formas de se evitar o contágio. Outra medida que os especialistas recomendam é o uso de máscara.
Há duas semanas, dias antes de anunciar que havia se curado da Covid-19, Bolsonaro andou de moto na área externa do palácio e, sem máscara, conversou com garis que limpavam o local.
Na quinta-feira (30), ele disse que estava tomando antibióticos para combater “um pouco de infecção” no pulmão.
