Índice alemão DAX chegou a recuar 5% antes de reduzir algumas perdas e encerrar em queda de 4,2%. As ações alemãs sofreram sua pior sessão desde o início do mês de junho nesta quarta-feira (29), quando o governo concordou com um novo lockdown emergencial para combater o aumento de casos da Covid-19, com outros mercados europeus seguindo o exemplo, sob os temores de mais paralisações ao redor do continente.
O índice alemão DAX chegou a recuar 5% antes de reduzir algumas perdas e encerrar em queda de 4,2%, para seu menor nível em cinco meses. As medidas precisas ainda estavam sujeitas a negociação, com fontes dizendo que o governo concordou em fechar bares e restaurantes a partir de 2 de novembro.
O índice pan-europeu STOXX 600 recuou 3%, sua queda diária mais acentuada em cinco semanas. O principal índice da França teve queda de 3,4% antes de um discurso transmitido pela televisão pelo presidente Emmanuel Macron às 20h (16h, pelo horário de Brasília), quando se espera que ele emita ordens para ficar em casa.
“Notícias de lockdowns renovados aumentarão as preocupações de crescimento na região, em um momento em que os indicadores de mobilidade já começaram a cair e os indicadores de pesquisa atenuaram”, disse Mohammed Kazmi, gerente de portfólio da equipe de renda fixa da UBP.
“Isso provavelmente levará a presidente do Banco Central Europeu, (Christine) Lagarde, a permanecer pessimista em seus comentários na coletiva de imprensa de amanhã, traçando o caminho para uma maior flexibilização em linha.”
Lagarde deve falar às 9h30 (pelo horário de Brasília) da quinta-feira.
Segunda onda na Europa: Alemanha e França se preparam para anunciar novas restrições
Diante disso, a Comissão Europeia propôs novas medidas tributárias e comerciais nesta quarta-feira para combater a pandemia na União Europeia, enquanto fontes afirmaram que a Alemanha pretende aumentar seus planos de endividamento no próximo ano para financiar novas medidas de alívio ao coronavírus.
Em LONDRES, o índice Financial Times recuou 2,55%, a 5.582 pontos.
Em FRANKFURT, o índice DAX caiu 4,17%, a 11.560 pontos.
Em PARIS, o índice CAC-40 perdeu 3,37%, a 4.571 pontos.
Em MILÃO, o índice Ftse/Mib teve desvalorização de 4,06%, a 17.897 pontos.
Em MADRI, o índice Ibex-35 registrou baixa de 2,66%, a 6.474 pontos.
Em LISBOA, o índice PSI20 desvalorizou-se 2,23%, a 3.888 pontos.
