BC promove live para marcar início do Ciclo 1 do Sandbox Regulatório

 

O Banco Central dá início às inscrições do seu Sandbox Regulatório a partir desta segunda-feira (22). As entidades interessadas podem acessar tutorial referente ao processo de inscrição aqui, lembrando que esse processo se encerra no dia 19 de março.

 

 

O assunto será tema de uma live promovida pelo Banco Central às 10h de segunda-feira (22/2), com transmissão pelo canal do BC no YouTube. Os diretores de Regulação, Otavio Damaso, e de Organização do Sistema Financeiro e Resolução, João Manoel Pinho de Mello, participarão da abertura. Representantes das áreas técnicas do BC continuarão na live para dar mais explicações sobre o tema e responderão a perguntas. As perguntas da imprensa deverão ser feitas pelo e-mail bccoletiva@bcb.gov.br.

 

 

Esse é o ciclo 1 do Sandbox Regulatório do BC. Entre 10 e 15 projetos serão escolhidos para participar. O Ciclo 1 terá duração de um ano, podendo ser prorrogado por igual período.

 

 

A análise das propostas acontece entre 22 de março e 25 de junho de 2021, prazo que poderá ser prorrogado por até 90 dias, caso o número de inscritos seja igual ou superior ao dobro do número de vagas.

 

 

Nesse primeiro ciclo do seu Sandbox Regulatório, o BC dará prioridade a projetos que tratem de temas como finanças sustentáveis, inclusão financeira, fomento ao crédito para microempreendedores e empresas de pequeno porte, Open Banking, Pix e crédito rural, entre outras.

 

 

Ao final do ciclo, caso os projetos selecionados tenham demonstrado os benefícios, com adequado nível de risco associado, para o Sistema Financeiro Nacional (SFN) e  para o Sistema de Pagamentos Brasileiro (SPB), o BC poderá autorizar e, se necessário, regulamentar, o fornecimento dos produtos e serviços de forma permanente.
