A Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (ANS) suspendeu nesta sexta-feira (21) a aplicação de reajustes em planos de saúde no Brasil por 120 dias. A medida vale a partir de setembro para reajustes anuais ou por mudança de faixa etária, em todas as modalidades – individual, familiar, coletivo e empresarial.
Todo ano, entre maio e julho, a Diretoria Colegiada da ANS define o percentual máximo de reajuste dos convênios. Ficou decidido que, em 2020, não haverá anúncio deste número, portanto, fica desautorizado o aumento.
Segundo a agência, a proposta foi aprovada nesta sexta por quatro votos favoráveis e uma abstenção. Votaram a favor a Diretoria de Normas e Habilitação dos Produtos, de Normas e Habilitação das Operadoras, de Fiscalização e de Gestão. A Diretoria de Desenvolvimento Setorial se absteve.
“Haverá aferição e incorporação de impactos a posteriori, bem como, a forma de recomposição dos reajustes para manutenção do equilíbrio dos contratos de planos de saúde”, diz a ANS.

Na semana passada, a ANS decidiu que os planos de saúde têm de cobrir os testes sorológicos para o novo coronavírus.
O teste detecta a presença dos anticorpos IgA, IgG ou IgM no sangue do paciente, produzidos pelo organismo após exposição ao vírus.
Segundo a agência, o procedimento “passa a ser de cobertura obrigatória para os beneficiários de planos de saúde a partir do oitavo dia do início dos sintomas, nas segmentações ambulatorial, hospitalar e referência, conforme solicitação do médico assistente.”

Desde de março, os planos de saúde também são obrigados a cobrir o exame RT-PCR, que identifica a presença do material genético do vírus, com coleta de amostras da garganta e do nariz. Mas o teste não consegue detectar infecções em estágio inicial ou depois da cura da doença.
Outros seis tipos de exame que ajudam no acompanhamento dos pacientes estão previstos legalmente.
