O agronegócio brasileiro exportou US$ 6,5 bilhões em fevereiro, segundo análise da Secretaria de Comércio e Relações Internacionais (SCRI) do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (Mapa). O valor representa um aumento de 2,8% na comparação do mesmo mês no ano passado.
Apesar do crescimento nas exportações, a participação do setor no total de embarcações brasileiras caiu de 40,3% em 2020, para 39,9% em 2021. Isto ocorreu devido a alta do envio de outros tipos de produtos ao exterior, que subiram 4,5%.

Segundo a SCRI, as vendas do agronegócio foram prejudicadas pelo queda das exportações de soja em grãos, que diminuiu US$ 560,64 milhões em valores absolutos.
Este declínio foi causado por causa do atraso do plantio da produto, devido ao clima seco no início do período da semeadura entre outubro e dezembro do ano passado, e ao atraso da colheita, que ocorreu pelo excesso de chuvas neste início do ano.
Importação de soja pela China em janeiro e fevereiro recua com atrasos em cargas
Com isto, a quantidade de soja em grãos diminuiu quase dois milhões de toneladas, segundo a instituição.
Mas, essa queda na soja foi compensada por outros produtos, que juntos somaram US$ 585,26 milhões em valores absolutos, de acordo com a SCRI. São eles o farelo de soja, o açúcar de cana em bruto, o algodão não cardado nem penteado e o milho.

As importações do agronegócio no Brasil também cresceram, somando US$ 1,22 bilhão, atingindo uma alta de 14,9%.
