O banco Neon abriu nesta terça-feira (10) as inscrições para um curso gratuito de tecnologia com 50 vagas para pessoas refugiadas ou em condição de vulnerabilidade social.
A iniciativa é realizada pelo banco em parceria com as escolas Toti Diversidade e Resilia. As inscrições podem ser feitas por meio deste link até 27 de agosto.
O curso será realizado a partir de setembro e terá quatro meses de duração. No período, os alunos conhecerão conceitos básicos de tecnologia, como programação, redes, bancos de dados, arquitetura de dados, segurança e qualidade.

Os conteúdos serão apresentados na primeira etapa do curso, que terá aulas de três a quatro vezes por semana no período noturno com professores da Toti Diversidade e da Resilia.
Na segunda etapa, os participantes serão organizados em equipes e receberão desafios do Neon. Os alunos serão acompanhados pela equipe do banco e apresentarão seus projetos a uma bancada de especialistas.
O curso destinará 15 vagas a pessoas refugiadas e 35 para pessoas em condição de vulnerabilidade social, o que pelo critério do programa inclui quem tem renda familiar de até quatro salários mínimos.
Por conta das vagas limitadas, os interessados terão um processo seletivo com teste técnico e motivacional, dinâmica em grupo e entrevista.
O Neon afirma que oferecerá um certificado de participação ao final do programa. O banco adianta ainda que poderá contratar alguns dos participantes que se destacarem no curso.
