O município de Bonito, um dos principais destinos turísticos de Mato Grosso do Sul, se prepara para voltar a receber turistas após mais de dois meses por conta da pandemia da covid-19. A última vez que o local teve visitantes foi no dia 24 de março, segundo a Secretaria de Turismo da cidade.
Um decreto da prefeitura publicado nesta quarta-feira (20) autoriza de forma facultativa que hotéis, pousadas, restaurantes, e que os mais de 40 atrativos turísticos, voltem a funcionar a partir de 1 de junho, desde que cumpram normas de biossegurança.
“Esses locais precisam nos entregar estudos técnicos com normas para que possamos liberar, eles precisam definir como vai ficar o compartilhamento de áreas comuns, como os restaurantes, é necessário distanciamento entre os clientes e check- in e check-out devem ser online, entre outras normas da vigilância sanitária. Só iremos reabrir quando tudo estiver ok, sem colocar a vida das pessoas em risco, disse Augusto Mariano, secretário de Turismo de Bonito.
Apesar da data estipula de reabertura ser 1º junho, a Secretaria de Turismo acredita que os comerciantes levarão um pouco mais de tempo para se readequarem as normas; também se leva em consideração que junho é um mês fraco para o turismo local.
” Já julho é um dos nossos melhores meses, a gente acredita que se até lá, a crise da covid diminuir, aí poderemos começar a receber os turistas com mais força”, afirmou o secretário.
De acordo com a prefeitura de Bonito, o Turismo no Município gera 7 mil empregos diretos e 2 mil indiretos. A média anual é de 240 mil visitantes que gastam R$ 340 milhões. A prefeitura não soube estimar o número de desempregados causados durante a pandemia.
A cidade tem 5 casos de covid-19, de acordo com último boletim epidemiológico da Secretaria Estadual de Saúde (SES), que apontou que foram confirmados nesta quarta-feira, 52 novos casos de covid-19 no estado, e com isso, o número total de registros chegou a 693. Outros 770 casos suspeitos estão em investigação. Mato Grosso do Sul tem 17 mortes por coronavírus.

Uma das esculturas mais conhecidas de Bonito, o peixe Piraputanga recebeu máscaras de “proteção contra o novo coronavírus”. Segundo a prefeitura, a ideia é conscientizar a população de uma forma mais criativa, sobre a importância da prevenção à doença.
