Cerca de 2 milhões de pessoas estão na fila, e governo anunciou contratação de 7 mil militares da reserva para tentar diminuir esse número. Contratação não pode ser direcionada, diz procurador. O subprocurador-geral do Ministério Público no Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU), Lucas Furtado, pediu nesta sexta-feira (17) ao tribunal que suspenda a contratação, pelo governo, de militares da reserva para atuar no INSS.
A representação será distribuída a um dos ministros do TCU. Caberá a relator atender ou não ao pedido (leia os argumentos dos procurador mais abaixo).
Na última terça (14), o governo informou que irá contratar 7 mil militares para tentar reduzir as filas de atendimento.
Atualmente, cerca de 2 milhões de pessoas estão à espera de uma resposta para obter benefícios.

Argumentos do Ministério Público
No pedido apresentado ao TCU, Lucas Furtado questiona a legalidade da medida. Isso porque, segundo ele, a contratação não poderia ser direcionada apenas a militares da reserva.
“Ao meu ver, não pode haver o direcionamento da contratação para os militares da reserva, pois, nesse caso, é nítida a reserva de mercado que o governo federal está promovendo para remediar o impasse das filas de processos pendentes de análise”, afirmou o procurador.
Furtado também argumentou que o militar da reserva não é um funcionário público aposentado e que a disponibilidade dos militares de reserva visa atender a possíveis necessidades das Forças Armadas, não a necessidades de atividades de natureza civil.
Segundo informou o governo, o custo das medidas para acabar com a fila de pedidos no INSS será de R$ 14,5 milhões por mês, valor que inclui a gratificação dos militares – que, por lei, equivale a 30% adicionais sobre a aposentadoria na reserva.
