As exportações brasileiras de carne bovina bateram recorde em volume e faturamento em 2019, de acordo com a associação que representa os frigoríficos do setor (Abiec).
Resumo das exportações de carne bovina em 2019:
Faturamento: US$ 7,59 bilhões ( 15,5%);
Total exportado: 1,84 milhões de toneladas ( 12,4%)
Principais destinos: China, Hong Kong, União Europeia e Egito.
Impulsionada pela demanda chinesa, os volumes embarcados alcançaram 1,84 milhão de toneladas e a receita US$ 7,59 bilhões.
Os frigoríficos levam em conta todos os produtos exportados pelo setor (in natura e processados), diferentemente da Secretaria de Comércio Exterior do Ministério da Economia, que levanta os dados da balança comercial.
Levando em conta apenas as vendas da carne de frango in natura, o número é 12,5% maior que na comparação com 2018.
Os bons resultados obtidos em 2019, segundo a Abiec, estão relacionados diretamente ao aumento das vendas em mercados já consolidados, a exemplo de China, Emirados Árabes e Rússia.
“Os números demonstram o quanto a carne brasileira é bem aceita e tem boa competitividade no exterior”, disse em nota o presidente da associação, Antonio Jorge Camardelli.
Efeito China
Os resultados positivos foram puxados principalmente pelo crescimento da demanda chinesa, que em 2019 se consolidou como o principal destino da carne brasileira, respondendo por 26,7% do total exportado pelo país.
Em 2019, as exportações para a China somaram 494.078 toneladas, crescimento de 53,2% ante 2018. Em receita, o crescimento foi de 80%, com um total de US$ 2,67 bilhões.
