Vídeos informativos sobre a vacinação contra a Covid-19, foram produzidos em quatro línguas indígenas. O material faz parte da campanha ‘Vacina Parente’, promovida pelo Conselho Indígena de Roraima (Cir), que pretende incentivar a imunização nas comunidades.

A campanha tem como foco o combate a notícias falsas sobre as vacinas. Segundo o coordenador-geral do Cir, Enock Taurepang, houve recusa dos imunizantes em algumas comunidades, mas o problema tem sido tratado pelo Conselho.
“Hoje, a maioria das comunidades, principalmente as que ficam próximas a Boa Vista, têm acesso a internet. E o parente acredita no que ele escuta nas redes sociais, na própria televisão. Vai acreditando nas fake news e espalha para outros parentes que não têm acesso a informação, formando uma bola de neve. Um grande problema”, disse.
Conforme o Vacinômetro, site criado pelo governo para monitorar dados sobre a vacinação contra a Covid-19, das 72.250 doses recebidas para imunização de indígenas, 52.850 foram distribuídas, mas até o momento, foram aplicadas somente 32.349.
Os vídeos da campanha foram gravadas nas línguas Wapichana, Macuxi, Taurepang e Wai Wai, por professores das respectivas etnias. O material é distribuído nas redes sociais e grupos de mensagens.
“Pelo Whatsapp estamos conseguindo alcançar um grande número de pessoas, e de jovens principalmente. Eles vão repassando aos pais, aos mais velhos que não têm acesso a tecnologia. Porém, os filhos e netos já conseguem repassar essa informação aos outros”, pontua Enock.
Em Roraima, a primeira pessoa vacinada contra a Covid-19 foi uma mulher indígena, de 45 anos, a pajé macuxi Iolanda Pereira da Silva. Após receber a dose em uma cerimônia em janeiro, ela afirmou acreditar na vacina e que queiria ser um exemplo para que outros indígenas não resistam à imunização.
As produções também tiveram apoio da organização AVAAZ e do programa de Valorização das Línguas e Cultura de Roraima da Universidade Federal de Roraima (UFFR).
