Cenário
Na cena doméstica, as atenções estão voltadas para Brasília após o ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Luís Roberto Barroso determinar na noite desta quinta-feira (8) que o Senado instale uma Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito (CPI) para apurar eventuais omissões do governo federal no enfrentamento da pandemia de Covid.
O presidente do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), chamou a decisão foi “equivocada” e disse que a comissão poderá ser usada como “palanque político” para as eleições de 2022.

Na área fiscal, o ministro da Economia, Paulo Guedes, disse nesta quinta-feira que o Orçamento de 2021 aprovado pelo Congresso Nacional não pode ser executado, pois isso geraria problemas legais. Ele pediu a colaboração dos parlamentares para que o texto seja ajustado.
Na agenda de indicadores, o IBGE divulgou mais cedo que a inflação pelo IPCA acelerou para 0,93% em março, acumulando alta de 6,10% em 12 meses – taxa que estoura o teto da meta para a inflação deste ano.
Já a Fundação Getulio Vargas mostrou que o Índice Geral de Preços – Mercado (IGP-M) desacelerou a alta para 0,50% na primeira prévia de abril. Em 12 meses, porém, passou de 29,83% para 30,70%.
Já no exterior, permanecia o viés de maior otimismo sustentado pelas esperanças de rápida recuperação no crescimento econômico e pela promessa do Federal Reserve (Fed) de manter a política monetária ultrafrouxa mesmo com dados mostrando que a atividade dos Estados Unidos está ganhando força.
