A sexta-feira (21) começou bem fria no Acre. Condição inimaginável em agosto, onde os dias são muito quentes e a temperatura ultrapassa os 37ºC, época conhecida como verão amazônico.
Mas, a onda de frio intenso que atinge todo o país, chegou também no estado. No aeroporto de Rio Branco, capital do Acre, a temperatura marcava 12ºC, por volta das 15h (horário de Brasília). Temperatura menor que a registrada no mesmo horário no aeroporto de Bariloche, na Argentina, de 14°C. Mais baixa também que a registrada nos aeroportos de Porto Alegre, com 14°C, Montevidéu, no Uruguai, 15°C, Buenos Aires, 17°C, e Santiago do Chile, 23°C, segundo informações divulgadas pelo Instituto de meteorologia MetSul.
Às 16h, a capital acreana registrou a mesma temperatura da cidade de El Calafate, em Santa Cruz, um dos principais destinos turísticos da Patagônia, 13,2°C.
A madrugada gelada não foi fácil para as pessoas em situação de rua de Rio Branco. Vanderlei Silva de Souza passou a noite em um banco da praça no centro da capital coberto só com lençóis.
“Frio. Não só eu como vários moradores de rua, uns correm para baixo da ponte, para outros cantos aí. Nesse frio qualquer doação de um lençol, de um agasalho, de uma calça já ajuda. A gente pede e agradece porque não tá fácil”, diz.

Ainda tremendo, o Enock da Conceição lembra da noite difícil. “Muito difícil mesmo, a gente não tem coberta. As coisas que achamos é no lixo, vamos juntando e se embrulha com aquilo mesmo. Só que dormir que é bom ninguém dorme, com esse frio não tem como”, lamenta.
O frio deve continuar no estado até o próximo domingo (23). No sábado (22), o dia será de céu variando de nublado a parcialmente nublado em todo o estado. Podem ocorrer chuvas ocasionais por toda a região e as temperaturas continuarão baixas, segundo o Sistema de Proteção da Amazônia (Sipam).
Já o domingo será de céu parcialmente nublado tendendo a ficar com o céu claro. Não há previsão de chuvas em todo o Acre. O dia será ventilado e de temperaturas amenas.
