Decisão nacional sobre reabertura de aeroportos foi contestada pelo governo local na Sardenha. Um voo que partiu da Alemanha com destino a Ólbia, na região italiana da Sardenha, foi obrigado a voltar para casa quando se preparava para pousar no destino. Motivo: o aeroporto local estava fechado por conta da pandemia da Covid-19.
Segundo informações do jornal “Corriere della Sera”, o voo da empresa Eurowings, com apenas dois passageiros a bordo, partiu da cidade alemã de Dusseldorf na manhã do sábado (23) e foi informado pelos controladores de tráfego na Itália que o espaço aéreo estava fechado para a aviação comercial.
O avião deu várias voltas pelo local por cerca de 40 minutos. Foi proposta a ida para Cagliari, a cerca de 200 km de Ólbia, mas o avião voltou para a Alemanha.
O motivo da confusão foi que o Ministério da Infraestrutura e Transporte italiano tinha anunciado a reabertura do aeroporto da Sardenha para voos comerciais para 17 de maio. Porém, o governo regional alegou que faltava a confirmação das autoridades sanitárias para a empresa que gerencia o aeroporto de Olbia.
A empresa alemã falou à CNN que “a situação atual nos aeroportos da Europa é muito dinâmica” e “que as mudanças estão acontecendo muito em cima da hora”.
